THE OVERALL CONCEPT
Greektown Week NYC is a citywide invitation to experience Greek New York—past and present, traditional and contemporary, cultural and social.
It lives in restaurants and coffee shops, concert halls and clubs, churches and museums, galleries and stores, monuments and historic streets. It lives in the people who built communities across the city and the people carrying them forward today.
Greektown Week NYC makes that cultural city visible. It connects the food, music, nightlife, history, philanthropy, businesses, institutions and stories of Greek New York under one recognizable identity and one central calendar.
This is larger than a restaurant week, a concert series or a traditional festival. It is a way for Greek Americans, New Yorkers and visitors to encounter the breadth of Greek life in the city—and move through it as one connected experience.

AN ANNUAL NEW YORK TRADITION
Greektown Week NYC launches in 2026 as a new annual tradition. This year—and every year thereafter—the full week before Thanksgiving will bring the city’s Greek life together under one shared identity.
Each edition will create new reasons to gather, explore and participate, while giving restaurants, cultural institutions, businesses and community organizations a dependable moment on New York’s calendar to tell their stories.
THE INVITATION
For the Greek community, Greektown Week creates pride, visibility and connection. For the wider city, it offers a fresh way to encounter Greek culture. For participating partners, it brings new audiences through their doors.
